February, 2021: I hope you were able to attend my presentation on We Learn Together: Discussions in Diversity about my students' online Service Learning Diversity project at the virtual Tennessee Conference on Volunteerism and Service Learning on Tuesday, February 9. January, 2021: Thanks to Southwest Tennessee Community College for the opportunity to once again present information about online Service Learning and discuss our We Learn Together diversity project with Dr. Joyce Johnson at their online training event on January 11, 2021. December, 2020: I enjoyed sharing my information about online Service Learning in a webinar for Academic Impressions on December 1. July 30, 2020: After a Spring semester of quarantine, it was wonderful to share information about online Service Learning with Dr. Joyce Johnson and Assistant Dean of High Impact Practices and Innovation Matthew Lexow at Southwest Tennessee Community College on July 30. We are all in this together, all still doing our Service Learning, even in a pandemic. Stay safe, stay strong! |

Training is shared information. Writing is created information. My work allows me to do those things -- teach, train, and create information that assists individuals in preparing for their future. That’s why I love doing it. If you really want to learn something, then you have to experience the process. Then, you apply what you learned in everyday situations.
